SageMath is an open source, free, general purpose mathematics software. It is python based and it can interact with other mathematics software such as magma, Maple, Mathematica, GAP, etc. Since its creation in 2005 more than 100 workshops called SageDays has been organized around the globe to form communities and to develop the software. SageDays Istanbul will be the 113th workshop, and it will be the first one in Turkey.

This workshop is open to users of all levels, with many tutorial sessions. There will be a lot of time to work on the software either individually or as part of a team. Users can run their own projects during the week. It is a gathering of the community to spend time with SageMath.

Free accomodation is offered to students. You can also request transportation or accomodation support. The event is supported by a grant from the International Mathematical Union Commission for Developing Countries (IMU-CDC).
