This is a preliminary announcement of the hybrid event "Mirror symmetry for Looijenga interiors and beyond" that will happen in the last two weeks of July this year. Its physical location will be Istanbul Center for Mathematical Sciences. The first week 18-22 July will be a summer school and the second one 25-29 July will be a research conference. The current list of speakers and a tentative schedule for the summer school can be found at this link. There is also a poster there (also attached to this email), which you can use to advertise the event in your university. We have room for a couple more speakers for the conference, so if you are interested please let us know.

As of now, we are not offering any financial support for participants coming from outside of Turkey (except speakers), but we stress that all the talks will be also online and we hope many of you will participate in both the summer school and the conference. If you are willing to cover your expenses yourself, we would be delighted to have you here in Istanbul. Please let me know if you need an official letter or have logistical questions. There is also a chance that we might have some funds remaining after we cover the expenses of the participants from Turkey. If you are strongly considering coming to Istanbul but might need some financial help, it would not hurt to let us know now so that we can start trying our best to help.

There will be another announcement with the schedule, Zoom details and so on early June. There will also be a quick registration form essentially to collect emails for further announcements.
