Classification Problem for the Linearization of Nonlinear Differential Equations

Özet : If a given set of differential equations involves some arbitrary parameters of independent, dependent variables and their derivatives, we have a “family of equations”. Almost all equations in classical physics can be written as family of equations as the behavior of certain materials differ by some parameters which express the physical properties of the medium. Equivalence groups are the groups of continuous transformations which leave the family of equation invariant but lead maps between its members. These members could have different properties linear, nonlinear, homogenous, nonhomogenous or constant coefficient, variable coefficient. In this talk we shall focus on the transformations between linear and nonlinear members of family of equations, to look for an answer of linearization problem of nonlinear equations via point transformations.
