Post-Quantum Crypto Engineering

Özet : Nowadays cryptosystems will be broken when large enough quantum computers are built. Scientists have been proposed new schemes, which called as post-quantum cryptosystems, to solve this problem. However, the main problem of these cryptosystems are to have large key sizes and running time of the schemes are not sufficient. Thus to make these systems are usable for everyday, they should be improved in both running time and key sizes. In this talk, I will firstly introduce problems of nowadays cryptosystems and explain effects of quantum computers for everyday security. Then I will talk about solutions proposed to replace current security solutions, what should be done to improve their efficiency and also what is done so far. As a result of my talk I will give insights about what will be the research direction in this field for the near future.
