Symplectic geometry provides a rich framework for studying geometric structures, including those arising from algebraic equations, with deep connections to topology, representation theory, and mathematical physics. In this talk, he will discuss some of his contributions to the field, focusing on Fukaya categories as invariants of symplectic manifolds and their computability via local-to-global methods. He will also outline some of his future projects on open conjectures, including the Weinstein conjecture on the existence of periodic Reeb orbits in contact manifolds.
