A new project funded by TÜBİTAK awarded to Deniz Eroglu of NODDS research group for the period of 2019-2022. The position is open for applications for positions of postdoctoral researcher. The project will be oriented to study dynamics of phase oscillators on complex networks and apply the theory on the applications of spintronics systems and the counter- rotating flagella in the cells. Applicant should hold a PhD degree in mathematics, physics or computer science and proven experience at least in one of the following: - Collective behavior of phase oscillators - Reduction techniques for the Kuramoto oscillators - Physics of spin systems - Mathematical modelling of biological systems Applicant must be proficient in English language both written and spoken. Scholarship is 6500 Turkish Lira/month. Starting date is Feb 1, 2020 and the position is for one year with possible extension. Application deadline is Dec 15, 2019.
