A new project funded by TÜBİTAK awarded to Deniz Eroglu of NODDS research group for the period of 2019-2022. The position is open for applications for positions of PhD students. The project will be oriented to establish pioneering methods for the reconstruction of network from data by using tools from the field of dynamical systems and machine learning. The application fields will be brain and climate systems. Applicant should hold a MSc degree in mathematics, physics or computer science and motivated to work on one of the following points: - Dynamics on networks - Ergodic theory and bifurcation theory - Machine learning techniques to estimate (chaotic) dynamics Applicant must be proficient in English language both written and spoken. Scholarship is 6000 Turkish Liras/month. Starting date is Feb 1, 2020 and the position is for 2 years with possible extension. Application deadline is Dec 15, 2019.
